Kuwait City, Kuwait, April 28th 2010: The New Zealand Minister of Trade, the Honourable Tim Groser, was accompanied by David Reid, CEO David Reid Homes and Abdulkarim H. Jaragh, Chairman of Al Solajan in Kuwait yesterday, to witness the signing of a joint venture agreement between the two companies.

David Reid Homes from New Zealand has set up a design office in Kuwait, combining with Al Solajan to offer the latest high-end design, interiors and construction for both residential and commercial projects.

David Reid Homes brings their expertise in building design and modern construction methods and recognized the strength and credibility of Al Solajan as a Middle East partner, especially in the fields of construction and project management.

As a result of the joint venture US$ 2 million is being invested into land and a show home to showcase the company’s capabilities in Kuwait.

The Minister of Trade is visiting Kuwait with a delegation of over 90 New Zealand businesspeople, with the aim of reinforcing and expanding trade relationships between the two countries.
