DRH Announces Bob Tyson

David Reid Homes announces the appointment of Bob Tyson as National Franchise Development Manager. In this role, Bob will be tasked with Sales Operations and Training working closely with all franchises. With a career spanning nearly 30 years in new home sales Bob has become a well-known identity within the industry. His experience and background has been with major construction companies such as Jennings, the Dennis Family Corporation (marketing Executive and Glenbrae Homes), Dixon Homes and Cavalier Homes.

New Offices Opening

David Reid Homes Australasia welcomes two new offices, Brisbane South East and Northern Tasmania.
They will begin training in the coming weeks and their showhomes will be up and running shortly.

Ken Beissel Inducted Into Rugby Hall of Fame

The man who introduced Pie in the Sky football into Hay Magpies Rugby League Club, and brought a lot of the greats back into the game in the bush, Ken Beissel (David Reid Homes CEO) has been inducted into the Hay Magpies Rugby League Hall of Fame.

Ken becomes the 17th member of the exclusive Club and fittingly, was inducted into the Club in front of a crowd of over 400 Rugby League supporters which included some of the greatest names in the game.

In November last year David Reid Homes welcomed Ken Beissel as CEO. Ken was previously General Manager at Cavalier Homes for 15 years and has already exceeded expectations in signing 3 new franchises in Australia.
These franchises will be located in Brisbane and Townsville in QLD and one in Tasmania.
We have also recruited two new staff members to the head office. Bob Tyson has worked with ken for the past 8 years and has come on board as our National Franchise Development Manager. Also, Jess Perrin has been recruited as our Office Administrator.
With new staff and new franchises there are some exciting times ahead and endless amounts of growth forecast for the company.

David Reid Homes Perth have opened their Show Home to the public and the response has been huge. The display home is open on Saturday and Sundays from1pm to 5pm and their Sales consultant is kept very busy with enquiry. The home is filled with lots to offer, with a gymnasium/yoga retreat, through to luxury bath tubs and innovative design. New David Reid Homes Office opens on Sunshine Coast Queensland

David Reid Homes Sunshine Coast South has just opened its doors this month. Russell Humphrey and Ian Royal have signed up for the business and new jobs are already flowing in for them. Russell and Ian come with years of experience in the building industry and Russell has working in our Head Office for David Reid Homes Australia. Their showhome will be opening shortly in Pelican Waters and they have some builds already through to construction.

Joint Venture signed between David Reid Homes & Kuwaiti Partner

Kuwait City, Kuwait, April 28th 2010: The New Zealand Minister of Trade, the Honourable Tim Groser, was accompanied by David Reid, CEO David Reid Homes and Abdulkarim H. Jaragh, Chairman of Al Solajan in Kuwait yesterday, to witness the signing of a joint venture agreement between the two companies.

David Reid Homes from New Zealand has set up a design office in Kuwait, combining with Al Solajan to offer the latest high-end design, interiors and construction for both residential and commercial projects.

David Reid Homes brings their expertise in building design and modern construction methods and recognized the strength and credibility of Al Solajan as a Middle East partner, especially in the fields of construction and project management.

As a result of the joint venture US$ 2 million is being invested into land and a show home to showcase the company’s capabilities in Kuwait.

The Minister of Trade is visiting Kuwait with a delegation of over 90 New Zealand businesspeople, with the aim of reinforcing and expanding trade relationships between the two countries.
