Meet Cobey – Your Local Lithgow Custom Builder
Lithgow Builder Cobey Byrne is the sole managing director of the David Reid Homes brand in Orange N.S.W. Cobey has lived in orange his whole life and served out his apprenticeship with a large local building company. He finished his trade in 2004 and then continued to work with the same company for a further two years, after this Cobey worked as a sub building contractor for various builders around the region on numerous projects.
Cobey started his own building company Vividhomes in 2009 building residential homes and prides himself on service and quality, building new homes unique to his style. Cobey joined forces with David Reid Homes to reach more people and to raise the standard of his homes. Cobey felt that the David Reid Homes motto – ‘Raising The Standard’ – fit with his own values and vision for his company.
Cobey could never have done all this on his own. Kasey, his wife and partner of 11 years, is also a local and grew up in the building industry. Playing an integral role in the business, Kasey has always been involved in Cobey’s ventures as well as in the local community.
Cobey and Kasey are both very family and community-orientated and use local trades and suppliers of the region as much as possible, supporting local sporting associations and several fundraisers.
