The home your
street remembers
David Reid Homes builds custom and luxury homes across Sydney’s eastern suburbs, from Woollahra and Double Bay through Bronte, Clovelly and Coogee to Maroubra and the Bayside coast. Every home is designed for its block and for the family who will live in it, whether that is a coastal new build or a knockdown rebuild a few streets from the beach.

01 / Ethos
David Reid Homes Sydney
For twenty years we have built homes designed for their site and remembered long after the trucks leave. In Sydney, that work is led by Rocco and Jo Natoli.

02 / Building in the eastern suburbs
not the catalogue
Eastern suburbs sites are among the most valuable land in Australia, and the build has to honour that. We work with Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick and Bayside controls on height, setbacks and view sharing, we plan for tight access and craneage on constrained streets, and we specify finishes that handle salt air for decades rather than seasons. The result is a home built for its outlook and its ocean climate.
Yes. Coastal builds in the eastern suburbs need marine-grade thinking: material selection, fixings, coatings and detailing that stand up to salt air and ocean weather. We specify for the coastal environment from the outset, so the home keeps its finish and its integrity long after handover.
Yes, that is exactly what custom design is for. View corridors, upper-level living, roof terraces and careful placement within height and setback controls let a tight eastern suburbs block capture an outlook a standard plan would waste. We design in section from the first sketch to make the most of what your site can see.
We build across the east, including Woollahra, Double Bay, Rose Bay, Vaucluse, Bronte, Clovelly, Coogee, Randwick, Maroubra and the Bayside suburbs. If your suburb is nearby but not listed, talk to us about your project.
Yes. Many eastern suburbs streets carry older semis and post-war homes on land that deserves more, and a knockdown rebuild lets you stay near the beaches, schools and village streets you chose while building a home designed for the block. We assess the site and controls with you before you commit.

03 / Our work

04 / Your local builder
Rocco is a carpenter by trade who has worked on the tools since 1985 and held his licence since 1991. He is an NSW Registered Building Practitioner, licence 38901C, and he is on every site, holding the build to the standard his name now carries.
Jo is your point of contact through the build, looking after contracts, administration and finances so the journey stays clear and calm from start to handover.
Building with a local owner and builder means the person who signs your contract is the person standing on your site. With Rocco and Jo that comes with:
- An NSW Registered Building Practitioner (licence 38901C), on the tools since 1985 and licensed since 1991
- Custom homes, luxury builds and knockdown rebuilds across the north shore, inner west, eastern suburbs and the Shire
- Local knowledge of Sydney councils, approval pathways and site conditions
- A detailed, itemised quote and a clear written contract before construction begins
- One point of contact from design through to handover, with Rocco on site and Jo managing the paperwork
- Progress you can follow online through our client portal, backed by the statutory home building warranty in NSW

Tell us about your block and what you have in mind. We will come back to you personally to talk through how David Reid Homes Sydney can bring it to life.
