Dan Wilks, director of David Reid Homes New England has a passion for building and can truly say he loves his job! He worked with a reputable local builder for 11 Years building residential homes, sheds, renovations, roofing and maintenance and with his knowledge of roofing Dan travelled to Sydney and surrounding areas to construct and repair roofs of factories, terraces, churches and many houses.

In 2003, New England Builder Dan and Kylie began operating their building company (Danbuilt Pty Ltd) which proved successful in both service and quality. They look forward to introducing David Reid Homes to the New England area. They have always focused on custom, high end residential new homes and extensive renovations where “custom is detail”! With custom design and building “anything is possible” and they work with you to produce a home that suits your lifestyle and what is important to you.

Dan, Kylie and their team built a number of extensive homes in the New England area and always looking for a challenge, are able to achieve outstanding results on large, intricate renovations and new homes. After completing the HIA GreenSmart Professional Accreditation course, Dan has further knowledge when building your home smarter, and with his exceptional project management skills has built up a great relationship with his team of local quality tradespeople and sub-contractors. “We are proud of the high quality sub-contractors that work alongside our team”.

Kylie has tackled the operating of the building company with both hands. She enjoys it and being the daughter of a builder is thankful of the basic knowledge she has of a “building site and what goes on”. Having owned a picture framing business Kylie has gained a flair for being creative and assists in the custom design side of David Reid Homes New England. Her colour knowledge, interest in design and decorating has Kylie poring over the latest magazines and ideas keeping them both up to date with the latest products. Being members of a community Dan and Kylie support local businesses and with their three children Georgie, Dustin and Jasmine live a very active life enjoying cycling, pilates, camping, water skiing and spending time with family and friends.
